The Nera WorldCommunicator is a portable 64kbps/ISDN bi-directional satellite modem used to receive and transfer information. The modem provides access to Internet, Intranet and LAN networks. Wherever you are located you can operate on e-mail, send large data files of text, pictures or film, use video conferencing and make a phone call to anywhere on earth. For higher transmission speed, dual optional software enables you to transfer data at 128 kbps, using two terminals. For fixed installation Nera WorldCommunicator is provided with a fixed antenna, which enables easy installation of the antenna on any surface, and stabilizes the antenna for rough weather conditions. The Nera WorldCommunicator includes a built-in cordless phone base station that allows up to 12 cordless phones to be connected, to form a cordless telephone network.
