This new accessory will allow customers to keep their phones on longer to make additional phone calls, use data service longer, or extend time between recharges. The Iridium 9555 high capacity battery will work properly with all firmware versions but in order for the battery icon on the phone display to provide an accurate representation of charge level, phone firmware HT11001 or newer is required.
